Beauty Vanity Organization and Essentials

If you love makeup like me you probably have a pretty large stash of it and want every concealer, lipstick, or foundation in a safe place! I am sharing how I organize my vanity and what essentials help keep me organized.

For starters, I have 2 Ikea Alex drawers to store majority of my makeup and purchased a separate tabletop since the drawers do not come attached. Depending on the amount of makeup you have, the Alex drawers are not necessary and you can opt for a more affordable desk with drawers. I also found a dupe for the Alex drawers that you can see in the right corner of the picture above. I ended up purchasing the Alex drawers and stacked the dupes on-top of each other for a tall storage!

Lipstick Organizer

This super cute and simple organizer for lipsticks works perfectly for liquid lipsticks. I love liquid lipsticks and wanted to have easier access to them so placing it in the middle of my vanity worked best for me. If you like regular lipsticks an organizer with a shorter base will store those much better.

Product Display

This 3 tier shelf is actually a spice rack from Amazon! It works perfectly to display your favorite products or create an aesthetic depending on your preference.

Makeup Organizer

This organizer works best for any extra powders, sponges or miscellaneous items! The organizer on top is a separate piece and I wanted to be able to store a few extra items that wouldn’t fit in the drawers. I actually picked these up from Burlington, but found a very similar item on Amazon!

Vanity Chair

This chair is probably one my favorite items in my beauty room! It’s really good quality, goes with any theme you want and gives you the “beauty room” vibe.

Here’s another look at my vanity! It emphasizes my favorite products, favorite colors and stores my makeup perfectly!
